Welcome to the Waterwatch Turbidity Snapshot 2009.
During National Water Week and particularly on 'Snapshot Day', groups from all over the state monitor turbidity. Water samples are collected from local water sources and tested with a turbidity tube to determine clarity or potential amount of suspended solids in the water.
This web site is designed to allow Waterwatchers to enter and upload their turbidity information and generate regional turbidity maps.
